Empowering You to Live Authentically

I support people in exploring what it means to live authentically to themselves. We can explore topics of anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, neurodiversity, family/relationship issues, sexuality, gender, and more.

I am a fully registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I am based in Toronto, and offer my therapy services virtually by Zoom or phone.

I am queer person living with invisible disabilities and and am a second-generation settler with arab ancestry. I often practice through the lens of lived experience alongside my professional experience to better connect with my clients.

Relational Therapy
Together we can look at the significant relationships in your life, whether familial, romantic, or platonic, and identify existing relational patterns using attachment-based theory.
Narrative Therapy
What's your story? What are the dominant narratives we hold about ourselves? Together we can identify the things that have influenced your story and how you understand yourself. This could included examining the influence of people, institutions, and systemic oppression.
Sex Therapy
Wanting to reconnect with your sexuality? Exploring parts of your sexuality for the first time? LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, and kink informed.

Mindfulness & Somatic Practices
While talk therapy can be helpful, it can also be important to bring attention to the mind-body connection. How does your body communicate that it's under distress? How can we process the feeling by bringing attention to the body, and not just addressing it cognitively? I aim to help clients connect to their body' to read and process their physiological responses to distress.
IFS (parts work)
Get in touch with the parts of yourself that need to be heard. We can get to know these parts and what they have been doing to protect us, but also their connection to our stuck points.
Trauma-Informed &
Anti-Oppressive
I emphasize safety, collaboration, and empowerment in our sessions together. I hope to co-create a space where we can gently explore challenging topics at your own pace.
My work is rooted in anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, intersectional feminist values. I approach my therapy practice with the critical understanding that the profession has the potential to harm by upholding colonial expectations of wellness and has historically done so.
